Tulane DE Michael Pierce Jr will be out indefinitely due to academics

UCLA S Dietrich Riley will miss the season with a neck injury

Vanderbilt LB Tristan Strong has left the team

Michigan WR Roy Roundtree had arthroscopic knee surgery and will be out for 2 weeks.

Arizona LB Dakota Conwell and C Kyle Quinn have an ankle injury and are out indefinitely. LB Greg Nwoko has a leg injury and is out indefinitely.

Utah DB Alphonso Marsh and DE Niasi Leota both had appendectomies and are out indefinitely. DL Junior Salt has a broken foot and will miss this season.

Alabama CB Travell Dixon will transfer

Washington WR James Johnson and LB Nate Fellner both have foot injuries and are out indefinitely. LB Princeton Fuimaono has a injured hamstring and is out indefinitely. LB Taz Stevenson is having migraines and will be out indefinitely. DE Hau'oli Jamara has a sprained knee and will be out for 2 weeks.

Notre Dame TE Alex Welch will miss this season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

Auburn CB Jonathan Rose has transferred to Nebraska. Eligible to play in 2013.
